General terms and conditions of sale

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our sales and deliveries are subject to the following conditions:

To the webshop

  1. Identity of the business

    Brouwerij De Vlier BV
    Marc Andries
    Leuvensebaan 219
    3220 Holsbeek - Belgium
    BE 0896.663.743

  2. The prices shown on the site are indicative prices, valid on the date of publication; we may change them at any time without prior notice.

  3. Shipments are made at the customer’s risk and expense, unless stated otherwise. To be admissible, any objection or comment regarding our invoices or our goods must be submitted by registered letter within seven days of receipt at the latest.

  4. If a shipment is damaged, the customer must note this on the transport documents. Any complaints about the delivery must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

  5. Delivery times are indicative. Delays cannot give rise to partial or complete cancellation of the purchase or to any compensation.

  6. No goods may be returned without our written consent. Returns are accepted only delivered free to our warehouse, at the sender’s expense and at the customer’s risk. If the complaint is accepted, we are entitled to replace the defective goods, without the customer being entitled to any compensation.

  7. Repairs or replacements under warranty are carried out ex shop in Holsbeek.

  8. Sales through the webshop require payment in advance: the customer pays online when ordering. If payment is not made, the goods will not be shipped.

  9. For sales on invoice: all our invoices are payable on receipt of the goods. If payment is not made by the due date, the buyer is in default by the mere expiry of the first month after the invoice date. In that case, interest of 1.50% per month or part of a month of delay is due on the outstanding amount by operation of law and without prior notice of default, from the due date. In addition, any amount still unpaid 15 days after a reminder has been sent will be increased by operation of law by 15%, with a minimum of 25 euros, as fixed and irreducible compensation.

  10. All collection costs are borne by the buyer.

  11. All goods remain our property until full payment and settlement of all obligations. If payment is not made after the due date, the seller may terminate the agreement by operation of law. The buyer is then liable to pay fixed compensation of 33% of the price, in addition to compensating all material damage and/or loss of value.

  12. Only the courts of Leuven have jurisdiction over any dispute. Only Belgian law applies to our transactions.

  13. Additional or deviating provisions

Provisions that supplement or deviate from these general terms and conditions may not be to the detriment of the consumer and must be recorded in writing, or in such a way that the consumer can store them in an accessible manner on a durable data carrier.
