The beers
Brouwerij De Vlier brews its Blond, Amber 69, Scotch, Tripel and White all year round. The three aperitif beers are always available too. In addition, a specific seasonal beer is brewed each season: Carrousel in summer, the Onbekende Soldaat in autumn and the X-Mas Spicy for the dark winter months.
The name of the brewery and of the regulars comes from its original location, Kessel-Lo, in the district of Vlierbeek. The newer beers were linked to the brewery’s current location or to partners De Vlier works with to make these unique beers. With the aperitif beers Brut, Demi-sec and Rosé, the brewery gives a firm nod to winemaking, in the spirit of sparkling wines, cava or champagne.
