Questions and answers
Can I join a tour with fewer than four people?
Yes. A reservation is for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 people, but if your group is smaller, you join another group on Saturday at 2 pm.
Is there anything for people who don’t drink beer?
The tasting room menu also includes Nagra (alcohol-free), coffee from Stroobants in Diest, water, sparkling water and homemade lemonades.
How long can I keep the beers?
The beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and refermented in the bottle, with flavour evolution. Blond, Amber 69, Tripel, White, Carrousel and Saison keep for at least 3 years, the other beers for 5 years and the barrel aged beers even for 10 years after the bottling date.
Can I get beer for a party?
The beers come in 75 cl bottles and 20-litre kegs. For parties, De Vlier provides a home tap system and 25 glasses.
How quickly does a webshop order arrive?
The brewery collects all orders and takes them to the DPD shipping point on Saturday, to limit transport. Your parcel is then delivered to your home 3 to 4 days later, insured up to € 500.
Why is it best to order in sixes or twelves?
There are two kinds of shipping boxes: one for 6 and one for 12 bottles. Your shipping costs are therefore lowest with 6 or 12 bottles; for other quantities a box with empty compartments is used.
Can I pay by card in the tasting room?
Yes, you can pay in cash or by card.
